Aged White Tea Steeping Guide

Awakening the Aroma

The aged white tea is in a dormant state, so it’s important to rinse with hot water to awaken its aroma and bring out the full flavors.

Traditional Steeping or Infuser

Tea Amount : 5 grams per 100ml water
Steep Time :
o After rinsing, steep for 15 seconds for your 1st to 5th infusions .
o You can increase the steeping time slightly (by a few seconds) based on your taste preference.
o The tea is good for up to a dozen steeps .

Boiling Steeping Method

Tea Amount : 5 grams per 1000ml water
Boiling Time : Add tea leaves to boiling water and boil for 5-10 minutes .

Steeping Instructions

Tea Amount : 3 grams
Water Amount : 300ml
Water Temperature : Boiling (212°F / 100°C)

Steep Time : 5 minutes
