About the Instructor

Mr. Joshua Hough, a highly esteemed artist and scholar, served as the 5th president of the Dallas Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Association and is currently an art advisor. He was mentored by Master Wuwei Jiang, a disciple of Xinyu Pu, inheriting the brush and painting techniques of Ren Bonian. Through his studies, Mr. Hough has developed a profound understanding of seal script and traditional Chinese brush techniques.

After moving to the United States, he expanded his artistic vision by studying Western fine arts under renowned professors. His background bridges the worlds of Eastern and Western artistry, offering students a unique perspective on Chinese calligraphy and painting.
